Colour meets refined tradition.
A decorating makeover invigorated the classical features and architectural detailing of this house.
Colour played a big role in this project and we used the verdant lush garden at the front of the house as the inspiration for the decor; this is particularly reflected in the leafy jungle theme of the curtains and soft furnishings.
Our clients wanted to retain the parquetry floors and traditional fireplaces, but inject energy and life into their tired living room. We used bold accent colours on an otherwise fairly muted palette, which paired well with the rich timber tones of the furnishings and the subtle Asian influences acquired through years of travel.
The living space can now seamlessly transition from a party of one to a group of 10 with its versatile seating options and flexible arrangement.
